As I am researching web portfolios I found this awesome site SOUP, Agency. This is very clean simple site, but what I love about this site is the transition it has when you click on each tab. I wounder if this is hard to built, and if this has java script?

I was researching to find  simple graphic design portfolio website and I stumbled upon this site. I think it is
very clean, functional, consistent and modern. What I like about this website, is whenever you click on the image as its loading, the logo design plays an animation. I thought that was nice because it had a little anticipation  waiting to see whats going to happen next. I would like to have on my site is when you click on his name at the top you have a unique roll over tabs you get choose from.

Digital portfolio SEAN GENG

This is by far a clever digital web portfolio ever. I was searching for award winning web portfolio and I came upon this site. Its amazing, when you click on a tab it looks like the camera pans over the site. This designer used his after effects skills within this site. I wounder how this designer this. This is  award winning site for sure. The link to this is Designspasm. 

MIKE HOJGAARD web portfolio

I really like this web portfolio because it is very clean, simple yet loud because of his design pieces. What I also like about this site is the style of his design pieces, the verity of  work he designs from motion design, illustration, web, identity/logo, and print. He has the whole package for a designer. His is work very inspirational and well designed. The link to the site is MIKE HOJGAARD I advice everyone to check his site out.

Wing Cheng Web Portfolio

This was a unique way to creat a web portfolio but in my opinion I would not creat this because if I were to check out your design work I would like to view the actual piece ditigal then on the interview the print piece. But what I liked about this site was the transtion it had when you are viewing the tabs when you click on them. I think the concept he had was when ever he pulled this out of his pocket this is how many work his has or something like this. No matter what it is clever.

Acid- Unique Designers portfolio

Johanna Doe has a consistent site of a retro theme. Her web portfolio gives the sense of her personality. I like this site because it is to manage, transition is smooth and her work is amazing. She does photography, illustration, print design and many more. The link to her site is Acid.

Display work in portfolio

I was researching ways to display our work professionally in our portfolio. As you see above, there are some examples of what I am talking about. As a class we meet Madison from Horizon Hobby, she showed the class some ways to present our work so it could look natural yet realistic " how it would be if it were to be printed or look like ". I know there is a graphic design portfolio review invitation coming up SOON so here some ideas or concepts how to place your work.

Ergo Web portfolio

Ergo web portfolio is very simple, modern, and what designer professionals would like to see. He displays his work within a computer screen or a smart phone screen to show how it were to be viewed if you looked at it from computer screen or smartphone. I also think it is professional to have your art work with screen of a computer because it shows to any design firm that its functional and this is how it be if you were to print it this way or view it. CSS WINNER

So as of last week I had a searched for some css web design and here is another site that is the same site as last weeks, I would book mark this page because you could get inspired by some websites they have on this site. Here is a link to this site CSS Winner . Hopefully after I take 220 I would be able to do some css coding like what you see in this site.

SmartBOX Web portfolio

I really like this site. Their work is very clean, simple, and designed well. I like as your are viewing their site, the audience has the choose how they would like to view the portfolio as well the way it transition between images. Its is very modern and professional site. Hopefully in the future I will learn they way the create their site. The link to the site is SmartBox.

This site on the bottom is nice clean site, but what I dont like about is the large images that are displayed. This site is good for photography work. Design was it is hard to display work this vertical. However,

I was researching for some website site css and I came upon this amazing site. There are many and many website that are actually functioning and award for best css design. I cant stop going through each site that I like form the css gallery. I am sure if you check out this site you would want some of the css coding for your web page. The link to the site is CSS DESIGN AWARDS  its worth looking at I think.

I always try to research inspirational designers and I found a website that his a lot of inspirational designs at From Up North and the reason what I posted this is because it is simple, looks easy to mange, and clean. This attracted my eye the way the pictures slide. I think it looks much better then hitting the next button for another image to show up. I also choose this because I havent taken gds220 yet and for now I want somthing simple yet easy for me to mange for now until I get more experience with html codings.

There are many on the site to look at other website designs.

I reallylike  behance/ Michalsycz portfolio pieces and especially his identity logo. His designs explain who he is as a graphic designer and his website is clean and functional. I am trying to browse and see other online portfolios that \I might want to have in my website for the future.

So after creating our identity in project 1 the next step is looking at the types of designs we have to create for our resume, business card, letterhead etc... above is an image of the examples we the class should create for our next step. It should be consistent and clean way they have displayed there work. 

Studio | 9 Web Portfolio

Studio | 9 is a really nice web portfolio site. This site futures 2 portfolio variations, clean & bold design, and typewriter blog style. I like this because of its futuristic clean style as well as the smooth flow transition. It is a creative modern agency, I could see my site hopefully looking like this in the future. Identity Logo

Our first project is to create a an identity logo to represent yourself, now it may seem so easy to create but I find it very difficult just because its something that is you also what people view you as or see in you. It should be simple, clean, yet represents you very well. By looking at your logo the audience could see what your design skills and how they were put to test. Here is a site (brand soft the world) I found that has the latest logo awards and some I thought were good.

I really enjoyed browsing through this site. It is easy to manage, minimalistic as well as clean. For a beginner this site looks easy to create but what might be challenging is when you are clicking on the images it highlights what the image tagged as for example like illustration, print or web.Like what you seein the 2nd image.
